My name is Jalpa P. and I’m a new blogger, a lifelong memory-capturer, and someone who believes that every journey – big or small – is worth holding on to. This blog was born from a simple but powerful desire: to give the world a peek into my travels, my adventures, and the joy that comes from discovering beauty in every corner of it.
I’m a mom of two beautiful girls, married to the love of my life – my biggest cheerleader and the one who gently pushed me to finally turn this dream into something real. Together, we’ve explored the world as a family, and I’ve made it my mission to capture every moment along the way (no, really… I have over 90,000 photos and 2,000+ videos just on my phone!).
Some people splurge on handbags, jewelry, designer shoes, the latest tech, or fast cars – and I LOVE that for them! But me? I splurge on memories. Planning trips, diving into new cultures, learning the history of places I once only saw in textbooks – that’s my passion. Travel isn’t just a hobby; it’s something I truly look forward to and feel energized by. It’s how I connect with the world, and more importantly, how I connect with myself.
Growing up, travel wasn’t always an option, which is why I feel deeply grateful that today, we’re able to give our daughters the gift of seeing the world. Every trip we take together becomes a chapter in our family’s story – filled with laughter, surprises, new tastes, and beautiful moments that we’ll remember forever.
When I travel, I dive into research mode to create itineraries that are equal parts fun, adventurous, and relaxing. But I also live for the spontaneous discoveries – like asking locals where they eat or stumbling into the perfect little café tucked away from the crowds. I’m an Eggetarian (a vegetarian who eats eggs), and a self-proclaimed coffee shop vibe enthusiast. A cozy corner, a good cup of coffee, and people-watching in a new city? Heaven.
We’re a foodie family, always on the lookout for hidden gems and mom-and-pop spots that serve up meals with soul. And while I love planning and curating the perfect trip, what truly fills me up is knowing our journeys have inspired friends and family to take their own adventures – some even following our itineraries to the minute (and loving every second of it).
